Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry told WBRC Thursday that his deputies will continue to be the primary source of law enforcement in Hanceville through at least July 2026.

The school, which opened in 2022, is designed to prepare students for futures in aviation, aerospace, and engineering.

The challenges go beyond fruit. Fields have become too muddy to plant, and water pooling in low areas is leading to erosion and delays for crops.
