FRIDAY, May 23, 2025 (HealthDay News) — A new White House report says today’s children are the sickest generation in U.S. history when it comes to chronic disease, and it puts the blame on environmental toxins, poor nutrition and too much screen time.

The report echoes many of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s talking points on ultraprocessed foods and vaccines, but with some notable omissions.

The grim report highlighted crises including childhood obesity and declining mental health with sweeping warnings, but did not address structural issues such as physician shortages or high health care costs.
