On Wednesday, Hendriks was saddled with the loss against the Mets after he allowed three earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. Hendriks, who beat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2023, received “horrible and cruel” threats after the game that he said were also targeted at his wife.
