Tennessee baseball will play Texas in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday after beating Alabama in its first game.

The No. 8 seed Vols beat the No. 9 seed Alabama 15-10 in Hoover, Alabama, on May 21 with a huge offensive performance. Tennessee scored 10 straight runs after falling behind 6-5 in the top of the fifth. Every player in the Tennessee starting lineup had at least one hit while eight had at least two hits and three had three hits.

Adams surrendered a leadoff walk when facing Kilen, who moved up on a wild pitch. A one-out walk to Hunter Ensley was followed by an RBI single off the bat of left fielder Dalton Bargo against the shift, sending the lead back over to the Tennessee side.
