The Coast Guard has suspended its search for six people who were aboard a Cessna 414 aircraft that crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the San Diego coast on Sunday.

First responders were called to the scene on Sunday after reports of a downed aircraft in water near Point Loma. The U.S. Coast Guard says the plane was a Cessna 414, and that six people were aboard at the time of the crash. Tracking from Flightware shows that the plane intended to travel from San Diego to Phoenix.
