The Cleveland Guardians will try to play two games May 20 vs. the Minnesota Twins after their May 19 game was suspended following lengthy rain delays.

Tuesday marks Cleveland’s third game postponed due to weather this season, and second on the road. The club’s April 25 scheduled home game against Boston was rained out and made up as part of a doubleheader on April 26. A May 5 scheduled game in Washington, D.C. was made up as part of a doubleheader the following day against the Nationals.

Rain prevented the Cleveland Guardians and Minnesota Twins from playing again on Tuesday, following the suspension of the series opener the previous night. The Twins called off what would've been a de facto doubleheader about three hours before they were aiming to resume the suspended game from Monday before the regularly scheduled game on Tuesday night.
