SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Perplexity is preparing to launch its own browser, Comet, promising a bold rethinking of how people use the internet. Described as more than just a browsing tool, Comet is being pitched as a “cognitive operating system” designed to let AI actively assist users—not just answer questions, but complete tasks.
